Life is an ugly bore, unless you choose to seek out something otherwise.  That's my mission, to find that which is beautiful.  Not in the overbearing lace and flowers (although I do adore lace and flowers), way too much and all at once kind of beauty.  Beauty in the most simple of fashion.  Whether it's creating a pie from apples picked out at the farmer's market, knitting a washcloth, dressing up a little or reading a great book, I spend my time looking out for these simple pleasures that make for a beautiful life.


And I don't eat meat.
